The White Dress Project, an organization that promotes awareness of fibroids, is hosting their first event in the Washington, D.C. area on September 17: “The Power, Hope and Courage Behind the White Dress”
An intimate discussion on fibroids will take place at La Tasca Spanish Tapas Restaurant and Bar at 722 7th St, N.W., Washington, D.C. 22314, from 4:00PM to 6:30PM.
OB/GYNs, GYN specialists and mental health practitioners will be part of a discussion on fibroid treatment and raising awareness about uterine fibroids. Dr. Paul MacKoul, MD will join in to address minimally invasive solutions for women suffering with symptoms of fibroids, and/or difficulty getting pregnant.
